Still summer

After a fabulous weekend the sun is still shining here. Saturday I spent by the fjord and today I' m scratching my gnat bites. I try not to, but it's not that easy, I'm afraid. I photo above is from House Doktor. They have really catch the laid back atmosphere. Strawberry and white wine, anyone?

Manhatten penthouse - outdoor space

The designer Diana Burn wanted a romantic 18th-century atmosphere outside her apartment. Though the apartment is small it has a wraparound terrace that doubles it's size. As you can see the penthouse includes a garden.

COOL, CALM RENOVATION

The photographer Paul Massey 's latest house project. Quit a relaxing atmosphere. In white colour of course. I love white - I can have this colour in every room in my appartment I'm afraid.


What an inspiration to serve Saturday brunch in this kitchen diner. A lot of guests and a lot of food.
Bread, salad, smoked ham and of course fruit and cheese. Did I mention wine . . . .

Dinner for two

Yesterday evening I was invited by my friend to a restaurant by the river. We were given a table by the window. It was so nice. I had turbot with parsnip and asparagus. And a sauce based on soya. And white wine. Yummi, yummi! This weekend I'm going to the mouth of the fjord. I hope you all will enjoy your weekend! 

More white rooms

Today I found my pictures again. Lucky me! It's still raining - and I have decided two paint the hallway in white colour. I need a lot of light at the moment. Posting some pictures I found in Livingetc.

A perfect Saturday

Today we have been out all day in the garden. I really find gardening relaxing. And my little kitten, Siena has been out for the second time. She loves it!

It's Ascension Day, the sun is shining and I'm going out to work in the garden. I have had itchy fingers for a long time now. But first of all I must have my "morning" tea.

I love long weekends, Friday I'm taking the day off. I intend to spend some time on my favourite café and maybee do some serious shopping. Nice colors, iceblue & golden brown!

A bit crazy

Det er 10. mai og denne morgenen da jeg forlot mitt hjem plenen var hvit. Kan du tro det? Ikke hvitt fra aske, men fra snø. Og i øyeblikket er jeg ikke sikker på hva er verre. Jeg legger inn et bilde av Moooi's Horselamp. Den gale lampen på mange måter illustrerer mine følelser denne dagen.

London - ash - vulcano

After spending time in London we were returning at home on Thursday morning. I love London this beautiful city - but due to the vulcano on Iceland we had to go to Paris to catch a train for Scandinavia. It was kind of exhausting trip. Heavy luggage, but at least we met a lot of nice people.

Sunday & Sunshine

The snow is finally decreasing in the garden and here and there some yellow flowers appear. We have had a fabulous Sunday in the sun with coffee and cake outdoor, and I have received some little freckles on my nose. Tomorrow we are packing our bags and heading for London for a week. Most women have a fascination for shoes and bags. This little bag from DKNY suites my linen dress which I intend to wear during social life in May.

Look at these silk pillows. I love the turquoise color! It's perfect this spring! Sometimes window shopping can be so inspiring.

Sunshine outside and spring inside

Monday, the bead flowers and the cherry blossoms bloom inside and it's the last day of my Easter holiday. Tomorrow I'm back in business. Intensively working for a few days before M and I are heading for London where we will spend nearly one week. We really look forward to see the galleries, design and of course strolling around finding a nice café after having shopped.

A challenge

At least for my cat! Easter eggs, well, we will see if they will hang through the Easter.

It's still a kind of winter. But I'm in the mood for spring!

Decorating

I'm looking so forward to Easter. I have bought some lovely eggs in glass and others in ceramic for decorating the flat, though I'm a bit exiting about the reaction of my little cat. However, for the moment they stay in a glassbowl on the table.

Prince Chair

I love this chair - designed by the danish designer Louise Campbell. Produced in the colours black or white. Sophistication and simplicity drawn to perfection. I can imagen my cat taking a nap in a white one.

A perfect day for a dinnerparty

Sunday evening is a perfect day for eating dinner with friends I think. I have invited a friend for chicken, pasta and a glass of redwine. Tomorrow starts another busy week.

Today it's Sunday. The sky and the fields are white of snow. I must admit that I'm longing for spring now. I should have been working instead I do windowshopping. I and know very well that I end up on my favourite café for a caffelatte.

A lovely weekend

It has really been a lovely weekend. After been shopping on Saturday I spent a couple of hours with a friend in a café outside the town. The sun was shining. What a perfect Saturday!

Today on Sunday I have taken a spa before I went to see Alice in Wonderland with my youngest niece. We love to watch movies in 3D.
